Yoga literally means “to unite”, which can be interpreted as the union of opposing parts. In yoga we also practice the union of mind and body, by linking breath to movement. The physical practice, known as asana, helps tone the body in a holistic way and prepare for meditation. There are many modern yoga styles and approaches, all of which are based on a practice that has been developed over thousands of years.
We offer a variety of Ashtanga-rooted vinyasa style classes. During class, you will flow through common yoga postures to build strength, flexibility, and balance, while cultivating inner peace and confidence. We focus on proper modern alignment, while offering modifications and hands-on adjustments. All levels are welcome, no prior experience or flexibility required!
